Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat

5 days in Morocco will start from Casablanca airport or a pre-arranged location inside the city. Our English-speaking driver will pick you up with a private vehicle. The first stop will be at the Hassan II Mosque, renowned as one of the world’s largest mosques. Its dramatic location overhanging the ocean waves echoes verse from the Quran, which states that God’s throne was built upon the water. It’s a showcase of the finest Moroccan artisanship: hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble flooring and inlay, gilded cedar ceilings and exquisite zellige (geometric mosaic tilework) abound. It’s open to non-believers so you can explore its interior and its refined decorations.

After the mosque, you will go to Rabat, located just 90 km away and serves as the capital of Morocco since 1912. The imperial city is a perfect combination of the old part dated back to 12th century and the mordern urban projects built in 20th century..  You can plan your own trip here and are suggested to visit the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the medina’s souk, and the Mohamed VI Museum of Modern Art. We’ll customize the tour according to your preferences. At night you will stay in the riad located in the city center, close to those attractions mentioned above

Day 2: Rabat - Tangier

After breakfast in the riad in Rabat, you will depart for another imperial city of Tangier. Tangier, sometimes referred to as the “city of the strait,” is particularly significant in Moroccan history and culture. Its history dates back to the Carthaginian trade station of the fourth century B.C. It served as the launchpad for the Umayyads of Damascus’ conquest of Spain much later, in the eighth century. Tarik Ibn Ziyad, a Berber officer, led the assault; the Rock of Gibraltar bears his name, Jebel Tarik.

But Tangier’s history has been particularly notable, and no other city better embodies the Kingdom’s unique openness to the outside world—both geographically and in terms of welcoming Americans, English, Spanish, French, and Jewish immigrants from Andalusia who came to the city after the Reconquista, which turned it into a haven of tolerance. Many artists, including painters Delacroix, Matisse, and Marquet, as well as poets and authors Paul Bowles, William Burroughs, Pierre Loti, Jean Genet, and more recently Tahar Benjelloun, have always had a particular place in their hearts for it.Walking about the city is the best way to get to know it, even if it means getting lost in the medina’s winding lanes. From 1912 until independence, under Spanish influence,

Day 3: Chefchaouen

This beautiful city gives its visitors the a feeling of peace and calmness due to its colored walls witha blue sky colore and thats because of the Moroccans who sceap from Andalusia after long wars.

Ali ibn Rashid al-Alami, a descendant of Abd al-Salam ibn Mashish al-Alami and Idris I. Al-Alami, established the city in 1471  as a modest kasbah. Al-Alami erected the kasbah to protect against Portuguese incursions of northern Morocco. When Spanish Christians captured what remained of al-Andalus, the Muslim-controlled portions of the Iberian Peninsula, during and after the Reconquista, numerous Andalusi Muslims, Moriscos, and Spanish and Portuguese Jews migrated here together with the Ghomaras of the area.

In the year 1440, Ali Ben Rashid was born in the adjacent village of Gherzoim. In 1460, he traveled to the Emirate of Granada, where he distinguished himself in combat with Christian forces. He arrived at Chefchaouen in 1465, and because of his military background.

Day 4: Fes

You will be taken back in time to the Middle Ages when you visit Fes, a walled city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Athens of Africa” and the “Mecca of the West,” the Medina of Fez is regarded as one of the largest and best preserved old towns in the Arab-Muslim world. The bulk of the urban space’s original features and functions are still there, and the majority of its monuments, including madrasas, fondouks, palaces, homes, mosques, and fountains, date to the 13th and 14th centuries, also known as the Marinid era.

You will meet our approved local guide to begin the Medina tour after breakfast at the riad. You will first arrive to Bab Boujeloud, the Medina’s principal instance, after that you will go through the traditional markets to reach the Quaraouien Mosque and univercity which is close to Attarin square than to the Tineries

Coming back to the Riad will mark the end of the journey.
